A confusing thing about being a member of the twitter #writingcommunity and having multiple sclerosis is that the abbreviation MS comes up in very different contexts. Sometimes when I'm scrolling, people say things like "I'm loving my new MS!" and I do a double take before I realize they mean "manuscript," not "multiple sclerosis."
Of course, "this MS is killing me" can go either way.
